Working visit to the People's Republic of China by Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Wong Kan Seng

Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Coordinating Minister for National Security Mr Wong Kan Seng will be making a working visit to the People’s Republic of China from 15 to 16 Apr 2011.

DPM Wong will officiate at Singapore Day 2011 at Pudong, Shanghai on 16 Apr. About 4,000 Overseas Singaporeans are expected to attend the event. DPM Wong will also attend an evening reception for partners of the Overseas Singaporean Unit (OSU).

Singapore Day is a signature event of the OSU to engage Overseas Singaporeans and help them stay connected with home and with their fellow Singaporeans.

During the visit, DPM Wong will also attend a local industry event organised by DBS Bank.
