About Us

The Strategy Group in the Prime Minister’s Office was set up in July 2015 to drive whole-of-government strategic planning by identifying key priorities and emerging issues over the medium to long-term. It partners public agencies to strengthen whole-of-government efforts on key cross-cutting issues, such as population and climate change. The Strategy Group expanded in August 2016 to include the National Population and Talent Division (NPTD) and National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS).
